Spray metallization

We are one of few companies in Poland which use spraying devices for a spreading of a metallizing layer. The alloy used for the metallization has many important features which are useful in construction of composite forms .

The metallization generally substitutes usage of gel layers on the surface .

Spreading of a metallic coatings reminds a painting by means of a spray gun. There is installed a gas ( propane ) burner in the gun and a container for an alloy. When the alloy in the container is heated up then pressure air which is prepared by means of controller of the air thermal treatment ensures spray of metal , after pushing a release mechanism.

Falling down metal corpuscles, having temperature round about 40° C ( at the moment when they touch the model ) and high kinetic energy "collide" one another and form compact, uniform metallic layer . The layer thickness can be practically unlimited.

We, as a producer of composite moulds, use the device for metallic layers spreading on the composite moulds , for following purposes:

• polyurethane foams processing, both soft and hard .
• thermoforming

The layer fully replaces usage of gel coats . It is very important in the case of moulds for PU foaming . Namely, the layer has chemical resistance to all washing agents for moulds (DMF including).

In the case of the moulds for thermoforming we obtain the working surface which is resistant up to temperature 170 o C. The layer can be sand-blast cleaned and polished.

The kit contains:

1. A gun with a built-in propane burner and a container for an alloy.
2. A controller of air thermal treatment and pressure governors.
3. A set of hoses together with a regulator of gas pressure .
4. A stand with a fitted air dryer.

Training of the service staff in our company is included in the price. We assure twelve months guarantee for the device. The kit does not contain a gas cylinder and a compressor.

Besides, we add, free of charge, the technology for independent generation of the alloy. It is very important because alloys which are offered by competitors from the West are two or even three times more expensive but have the same composition as ours.
